Bedford Domestic Violence Services provides support and education to victims of domestic violence as well as concerned family members, friends, and citizens. We provide access to services such as counseling, case management, housing and transportation resource referrals, court accompaniment, emergency shelter, and more.

We believe that domestic violence is an intentional pattern of abusive behaviors used by one individual to exert power and control over another individual in the context of an intimate relationship. We are dedicated to the empowerment of victims of domestic violence and their children. We are committed to work towards the elimination of violence in our community. 

Bedford Domestic Violence Services is supported by the Bedford Domestic Violence Coalition. The Bedford DV Coalition is the voices of support for Domestic Violence Services in Bedford County. Our mission is simple but not easy: to end domestic violence.

We support Bedford’s Domestic Violence Services as they help victims and their families get out of harmful situations and begin to heal and grow into a new start.
